really? today?

i hate running into people.

it's such an awful inconvenience.

i mean.

i'm all for sporatic and random reunions but - sometimes there are those days where you really just don't want to be seen.

.. or perhaps see specific people.

and of course, whenever you have a day like that - you run into everyone and anyone.

conversations begin to get awkward and there are only so many things to bring up with an acquaintance without sounding like you're in an uncomfortable interview

"hows school, what program are you in, what do you want to be, oh yeah the economy is pretty unstable ):, etcetc"

or it's the worst when each of you thinks it will be a short "hello/goodbye" thing and they end up walking the same way as you, or take the same bus as you.

AUGH, LOL.

and then aside from conversations, its appearance.

the day you look like death will be the day you see a girl you hated from school, a bitch at a party, a crush, an ex-boyfriend, and just about anyone else you can name that shouldn't be in your presence. X_X

the thing with acquaintances too is that there's a slight elation in seeing them.

like. are we supposed to hug? am i supposed to say 'i miss you, we should hang out!' do i give them my number? I DONT UNDERSTAND.
